The History of Oscar Jacobson

Mr. Oscar Jacobson founded his company in 1903 in the city of Borås. In 1906 his brother Carl Jacobson joined him and the "Bröderna Jacobson" (The Jacobson Brothers) was a fact. This was the company name until 1028 when Carl passed away, only 48 years old, after a long illness. Which led to the name - Oscar Jacobson AB.

They started working as a supplier in manufactured suits and work wear. This was followed by their own production site and brought them in to serial produced garments.
